Brian and his wife Denise have four adult children, a cat, and a dog. He loves to meditate, write, work out at the gym, hike, fish, and swim. One of his fondest memories as an attorney is the time his secretary walked into his office as Brian bellyached about how hectic the day had become. She handed him a stone. Written on one side of it were the words, “Turn it over.” As he flipped the stone over and read the word, “Gratitude” written on the other side, Mary reminded him to stop and count his blessings. Whenever life gets hectic, Brian picks up the stone and names at least five things for which he’s grateful.
